Preventing CINV from the start…And for up to 5 days
A cancer diagnosis can be very overwhelming. You may also worry about feeling nauseous and
vomiting from chemotherapy. ALOXI®
is here to help. ALOXI (Ah-LOCK-see) is an antinausea medication for patients who
may develop chemotherapy-induced
nausea and vomiting (CINV). A single dose of ALOXI may help prevent nausea
and vomiting on the day of chemotherapy that is highly likely to cause nausea and
vomiting, and up to 5 days following chemotherapy that is moderately likely to cause
nausea and vomiting. Before you begin chemotherapy, ask your doctor about ALOXI.
If not prevented, approximately 70-80% of all patients receiving chemotherapy may
experience chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Medication may help you prevent
